Annual Renewal, Resignation


Renewals for 2017 are ready to pay in your On-Line Profile.

Renewal dues notices for 2017 annual fees to both individual members and holders of a Certificate of Authorization will be mailed out starting November 18, 2016 and may take up to two weeks to reach you. Your annual fee payment covers the upcoming calendar year. You do not need to wait for your dues notice to arrive, you can pay online any time in your On-Line Profile. See instructions in the attachments below. 

2017 annual fees are due on or before December 31, 2016 regardless of whether you received your dues notice. In accordance with The Engineering and Geoscience Professions Administrative Bylaws your membership will cease on January 31, 2017 at 5:00 pm CST if your annual fee payment has not been received at the APEGS office by that time. There will be a 15% reinstatement fee if you wish to reinstate in 2017 unless you notify APEGS in writing before January 31, 2017 at 5:00 pm CST that you wish to resign.

If you have not received your dues notice by December 2, 2016, contact the APEGS office to ensure your contact information is up to date with us.

Members are asked to pay fees online using the On-Line Profile by clicking "Login" in the top right corner of the APEGS website.

Resignation

 

If you are no longer practicing engineering or gescience on projects or properties located in Saskatchewan and you do not wish to continue your membership, notify us in writing. You may be eligible for a licence waiver but if you are not, you can submit your resignation. Your resignation must be received at the APEGS office by 5:00 pm CST, Tuesday, January 31,2017.

Notice of resignation may be made in writing either with the Orange Form, by email to apegs@apegs.ca or by letter mailed or faxed to APEGS. If you do not notify APEGS staff that you wish to resign, your membership will “cease due to non-payment” which affects the reinstatement process should you wish to reinstate in the future. See the APEGS website under Apply, Reinstatement for details.

NOTE: If you are not registered in any other equivalent Association in Canada, any coverage you have under the National Secondary Professional Liability Insurance Program or in group insurance programs sponsored by Engineers Canada (Canadian Council of Professional Engineers) will NOT be valid if you resign.
