SUMMARY:Saskatchewan Geological Society Great Southwest Geological Field Trip
DESCRIPTION:This year the Saskatchewan Geological Society is planning a field trip to Southwest Saskatchewan. Dr. Meagan Gilbert will lead participants through the Tertiary Section of the rock record.  Meagan grew up in the area and is very familiar with the geology. Dr. Michelle Hanson will share her knowledge of the Glacial History of the area so this promises to be an exciting field trip. \nThe dates are September 15-20th\, 2023. Cost is $500 for SGS Members and $250 for Student SGS Members and includes transportation\, accommodations\, lunches and a guidebook. You can book directly by paying on the SGS website. Please book by July 1 in order to make logistics easier for the organizers.
