DESCRIPTION:Event Format: Conference \nLocation: TCU Place Convention Centre\, Saskatoon\, SK \nHosting Organization: Saskatoon Geotechnical Group \nEvent Summary: The Saskatoon Geotechnical Group\, the North Saskatchewan Section of the Canadian Geotechnical Society (CGS) is delighted to announce GeoSaskatoon2023 to be held at the TCU Place Convention Centre in Saskatoon\, Oct 1-4\, 2023. \nThe conference will proceed with the participation of Partner Organizations\, the International Geosynthetics Society – North America (IGS-NA)  and the International Association of Hydrogeologists – Canadian National Chapter (IAH-CNC). \nBeing held in the “City of Bridges” in the beautiful valley of the South Saskatchewan River\, the theme of the conference is “bridging”.  Bridging research & practice\,  bridging theory & experience\,  and above all\, bridging different areas of practice.  Geotechnical practice is often characterized as being distinct in the separate sectors of Infrastructure and Resources\, however so many lessons can be learned\, and experiences shared when we focus on the similarities\, differences\, and synergies in different areas of geotechnical\, geosynthetics and hydrogeological practice. \nJoin Colleagues from across North America Oct 1-4\, 2023\, to share experiences\, opportunities\, and ideas\, to renew old friendships and make new ones\,  and yes\, to enjoy some Saskatoon berry pie! \nHow to Register: Click here for more information and registration. \nEvent Contact: Saskatoon Geotechnical Group \nDisclaimer: The views expressed during this event are those of the hosting organization and do not necessarily represent the views of APEGS.
