What is its role in the mining industry? How can the general public benefit from it? Developed by the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA)\, NI 43-101 is a regulatory standard that governs how companies disclose information about mineral projects to the public in Canada.  As the name suggests\, this “National Instrument” applies uniformly across all provincial and territorial legislatures\, ensuring transparent reporting. The Disclosure Instrument applies to both oral statements and written documents\, including websites\, ensuring transparency and accuracy in reporting of mining-related information.  Canadian mining and mineral exploration companies must follow specific rules for public disclosure which are designed to improve the accuracy and integrity of the information they provide on properties material to the company.
