Understanding the responsibilities of APEGS\, focusing on its purpose and effectiveness.\nA buffet lunch\nA presentation by Dr. Lionel Laroche titled “Bridging Cultural Differences in Technical Professions”.  Explore the challenges and opportunities that cultural diversity creates in engineering and geoscience in Canada.\nA presentation by Penelope (Penny) Popp titled “Unconscious Bias”. Delve into the human biological foundation of bias\, exploring how it disrupts inclusion and stifles creativity within teams.\nA networking reception featuring local regional societies and professional development organizations.
