DESCRIPTION:Date: January 14\, 2025 \nTime: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM CST (Saskatchewan Time) \nEvent Format: Live Webinar – Microsoft Teams \nHosting Organization: APEGS – A Member-Led Live Webinar Series Presentation \nEvent Summary: This presentation provides a basic overview and generic understanding of the relationship between an individual’s personal salary/compensation and the corporate billing rates or fees associated with that individual in the Saskatchewan marketplace. \nPresenter: Bert Munro\, P.Eng.\, FCSCE\, FCSSE\, FEC\, FGC (Hon) retired as a Vice President and General Manager of Associated Engineering and ATAP Infrastructure Management\, where he was responsible for the business and engineering operations. Over 45 years of experience in municipal infrastructure\, building\, and water resource engineering\, project\, asset\, and business management has led to a keen interest in the roles of the engineer\, contractor\, owner\, and the public\, in infrastructure planning & development\, life cycle & risk management\, public & environmental protection. He continues to provide specialized advisory services and to serve on the Boards of the Saskatoon Airport Authority and the Columbarium at St John’s Cathedral.  A Past President of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan\, the Western Canada Water and Wastewater Association\, and the Consulting Engineers of Saskatchewan\, Bert has also served as a Volunteer with the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering; the University of Saskatchewan; SIAST; the Canadian Cancer Society and he continues to serve as an active volunteer with several organizations. \nWho Should Attend: This presentation is most appropriate for those early in their career or new to the marketplace.
