The event will be open to SMA members\, government and environmental professionals (consultants/lawyers). DESCRIPTION:Date: October 29-30\, 2025 \nLocation: Holiday Inn Downtown\, 101 Pacific Avenue\, Saskatoon\, Saskatchewan \nHosting Organization: Canadian Water Resources Association – SK \nCLICK HERE for more information. \n\nEvent Summary: \n\nThis will be a 2-day in-person HEC-RAS course focused on 2D analysis. Following a review of 1D analysis\, the course will cover the development of a 2D model. Day 2 will cover more advanced topics with a focus on applications used in flood hazard mapping.\nSome experience with HEC-RAS is required.\nThe course is restricted to in-person participation with a maximum of 25 participants.\nFollowing the course\, participants will be emailed a certificate of completion for use in reporting to their professional association(s).\nThe course will run from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM daily.\nParticipants will be required to provide a laptop with HEC-RAS Version 6.6 pre-installed.\nOutlets will be available for charging.\nLunch and break refreshments will be provided.\n\n\nDisclaimer: The views expressed during this event are those of the hosting organization and do not necessarily represent the views of APEGS.
