The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) is seeking a Manager of Governance.
Nature of Role: Permanent Full Time
Hours of Work: 40 hrs/week, 5 days/week
Job Description:
Specific roles and responsibilities assigned to the Manager of Governance position will focus on, but are not limited to the following:
- For approximately the next 24 months, play an active role in reviewing, assessing impacts, planning for implementation, and operationalizing changes to the Act and by-laws, as defined in project management charters and plans.
- Related to the above and in consultation with directors and managers, develop and manage the APEGS’ policy framework in response to anticipated legislative changes and in alignment with good governance practices.
- Manage and maintain effective operation of and support for the APEGS core governance-related committees: Nominations; Finance, Audit and Risk; and Governance (and/or other committees as assigned).
