APEGS Seeking Chief Regulatory Officer

As part of its ongoing organizational renewal and transformation, APEGS is seeking a Chief Regulatory Officer (CRO) to join its executive leadership team in Regina, Saskatchewan. The position plays a key role in advancing APEGS’ priorities of modernizing regulatory practices, strengthening public trust, and enhancing organizational effectiveness.
The CRO provides executive leadership for the registration and regulation of professional engineers, professional geoscientists, and firms practicing engineering and geoscience in Saskatchewan. As a member of APEGS’ three-person executive team, the CRO works closely with the Executive Director & Registrar and Chief Operating Officer to support the development and execution of the organization’s strategic goals.
A key priority of the role is leading a multi-year regulatory transformation initiative focused on strengthening and modernizing regulatory effectiveness, including significant digital modernization efforts. APEGS is seeking a strategic leader with strong regulatory expertise, enterprise-level leadership experience, and a commitment to protecting the public interest.
