University Library Access
APEGS members have access to the resources at the University of Saskatchewan and University of Regina libraries for professional practice and professional development purposes. To obtain a library card for on-site only access, follow the steps below:
University of Saskatchewan:
- Go to the Library Services desk at either the Murray Library or the Science Library
- Present your APEGS membership card
- You will be issued a library card
Notes:
- Access to electronic databases is available to in-person library visitors
- APEGS members also have access to free Inter-Library Loans (ILL). Note that members of the public also have access to ILLs through their public library (check with your local library for membership information). For members not in Saskatoon, it may be possible to request a book through the ILL system and pick it up at their local library rather than picking it up in-person from the University of Saskatchewan library.
University of Regina:
- Go to the Borrowing desk at the Dr. John Archer Library & Archives
- Present your APEGS membership card and 1 piece of ID
- You will be issued a “public access” library card
Notes:
- Access to online databases are limited to onsite use only
