Event Summary
Hybrid PMOs are no longer a temporary response to post-COVID-19 disruption, they have become a durable operating model for how engineering organizations plan, design, and deliver complex projects. Across the industry, hybrid structures now shape how teams coordinate multidisciplinary engineering work, align project controls, and lead people distributed across offices, sites, and time zones. This session examines how the Hybrid Project Management Office (HPMO) is transforming the three core components of a PMO (Project, Management, and Office) through an engineering lens. Much like a hybrid vehicle integrates two power systems to optimize performance, a Hybrid PMO integrates dual modes of delivery to enhance functionality and operations.
