Event Summary: Python has become one of the world’s most popular programming languages. It is powerful, flexible, and extremely easy to learn, and has become a favorite for people ranging from computer scientists and data analysts to programming neophytes.
Edwin van der Spuy, a Control Systems Analyst at the Canadian Light Source, will present a brief overview of Python. Then a typical “real-world” example will be tackled. No programming experience or preparation is required.
