Event Summary:
- This will be a 2-day in-person HEC-RAS course focused on 2D analysis. Following a review of 1D analysis, the course will cover the development of a 2D model. Day 2 will cover more advanced topics with a focus on applications used in flood hazard mapping.
- Some experience with HEC-RAS is required.
- The course is restricted to in-person participation with a maximum of 25 participants.
- Following the course, participants will be emailed a certificate of completion for use in reporting to their professional association(s).
- The course will run from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM daily.
- Participants will be required to provide a laptop with HEC-RAS Version 6.6 pre-installed.
- Outlets will be available for charging.
- Lunch and break refreshments will be provided.
