SES Lecture—Lean Principles in Manufacturing

Learn about basic lean philosophies and methodology. How lean’s method collaborates between manufacturing, purchasing, sales, product development (R&D) to build better products and reduce inefficiency. Within manufacturing process, learn about the roles of quality, logistics, environmental, safety, manufacturing engineers in building world class products.

Arian Andkhoie is a Professional Engineer registered in the province of Saskatchewan. He has 10+ years of Project Management experience with PMP designation. Arian’s projects consisted of multimillion-dollar capital projects where he extensively demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and teamwork. Arian has worked in seven years in Case New Holland (CNH) in Saskatoon where he gain knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuously have used it throughout his career. Arian believes the success of the company is relied on leadership of the management. ​

Arian is also current vice president of SES. In his spare time, he likes to read, play squash, and spending time with his wife. In the past, he has board of directors for “Saskatchewan Squash” (2013-2017) and “YMCA of Saskatoon” as well.
