“Surety Bonds in Action – An Introduction to Construction Surety Bond Claims” builds upon topics introduced in “Construction Surety Bonds: A Primer for Project Engineers”. This new presentation will introduce the audience to surety bonds in action, using fictionalized case studies of construction surety bond claims.
The presentation does not require prior knowledge of surety bonds.

Presenter
Daryl Andrew is a Professional Engineer with over 20 years of experience in consulting engineering, construction, and the insurance claims. Daryl graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Engineering in 2004. Daryl began his career in structural engineering, later moving into project management and forensic engineering for construction liability claims. Daryl’s career also includes seven years experience in property insurance claims.
Daryl is a Fellow of Engineers Canada, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is a Chartered Insurance Professional. In 2023 Daryl was awarded the Insurance Institute of Canada’s CIP Silver Prize.
