Event Summary: Are you a PLC Specialist and tired of writing the same code multiple times?  Are you a Project Manager and frustrated that you are limited in choices?

It is time to start adopting IEC-61499 a Universal Automation standard for Industrial Control Processes. This is an open standard based on event driven function blocks, creating more transparent and open control systems. A technology change which defines how to implement a control system using “plug and produce” software components which are independent from the hardware on which they execute. This webinar will give an overview of the standard, how it is being implemented and software implementation demo.

Presenter: Erica Povhe, P.Eng. works in the Electrical Industry focusing on Industrial Automation and Control Systems. She travels all around Saskatchewan and Manitoba and sees different industries, updates professionals on the future of technology, and works on unique projects every week.

There is no cost to attend.
