Saskatchewan Energy Management Task Force – Hybrid Morning Speaker Series

Event Summary

The presentation on AI Powered Energy Audits will review the following:

• Problem: lack of data on building envelopes
• Discussion on use of emerging technology applies to net zero goals
• How we pair drones, thermal imaging, and AI
• Demo of software, AI, 3d modelling
• Examples of how we have helped public and private sector clients with their energy reduction goals
• Discussion on grid level and peak demand energy reduction for municipalities + utility providers

QEA uses proprietary AI, drones, and thermography to analyze building envelope performance. They accurately pinpoint issues, quantify energy loss, and recommend targeted measures that optimize energy efficiency and return on investment for your buildings. QEA was a pioneer in this space and the market leader in the granularity of analysis and retrofit planning.

• Proven track record of >2,000 projects completed with >100 clients
• Several patents including for the quantification of energy loss and anomaly detection using infrared imaging
• Measurement of R/U-values for every square inch of the building envelope
• Accurate analysis of issues and energy loss validated by 3rd party
• Network of solution partners that ensure accurate costing and business cases for retrofits
• Largest structured dataset on envelope materials performance
