As the winter days grow short, our bodies react. Changes in mood, loss of energy, and cognitive difficulties can all be the result. Up to 25% of the population in Canada will show symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) in either a mild or severe form. There is hope, however. With knowledge, we can recognize the issues and use some of the available coping mechanisms to bring us successfully through the winter.
